Background
In celebration of the server reaching 300 members and as a belated server anniversary event, the moderating team of the Eruri Discord Server hosted an open-invite Eruri SFW e-zine. This means that any member of the server can be a contributor as long as they abide by the Sign-Up Guideline in the Info Doc. The zine was published for free here on December 25th with an option for supporters to donate to the National Network of Abortion Funds through this link.Specification & Content
The zine is SFW, digital-only, B5-sized, and portrait-oriented. It features works that celebrate the memory of Erwin and Levi’s bond throughout their canon years, canon divergence, and alternate universes in a scrapbook theme.The zine features an array of Eruri-centric fan media, including page art; comics; 3D render; fics; podfics; and digital merch. Links and/or QR codes to digital merch and audio files are provided in the zine.The zine is divided into three sections:
1. Main Section
Contributor’s pieces are featured in this section.
2. Interactive Section
This includes eruri-themed word search, eruri-themed crossword, "find mascots" game, headcanon bank, and Q&A with contributors.
3. Behind the Scene Section
This includes contributors' WIP(s) or deleted sketch/lines/scenes/dialogues alongside any additional commentary about it. We believe there needs to be more effort in appreciating the process of creating, hence this Behind the Scene section.Interest Check Results

Q: What is a zine?
A: A zine (short for magazine), is an unofficial collection of original or fan-made works. Most of the time it is compiled in a book form, but it may also be available in a form of tarot card set, postcard set, calendar, etc.Q: How do I apply as a contributor?
A: First of all, thank you for your interest in participating in the zine! Unfortunately, as stated in schedule, the sign-up period for this zine has passed. At that time, it was mainly advertised within our Discord Server because it is a server event and is only open to server members. We would love to create an open-invite zine for the Eruri fandom as a whole, but currently, we do not have enough manpower to do that (maybe one day!).Q: How many contributors will be in the zine?
A: The zine will feature 15 contributors which will offer 8 page art, 1 comic, 7 fanfictions (along with podfics for each of them), and digital merch such as a coloring page, social media icons, a live desktop wallpaper, and emojis/stickers for Discord and WhatsApp. All eruri-themed, of course!Q: When and where can I get the zine and its merch?
A: The digital bundle was published here on December 25th, 2022! Consider it a Christmas gift from us to the eruri fandom and a birthday gift for Levi!Q: Why did you choose the National Network of Abortion Funds as your charity?
A: Abortion-related charity is the most frequently-mentioned charity in our Interest Check. It was also very timely then, because the interest check was opened two days after the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade.
